Please continue to utilize the drive-up and online services if you can. If you do come inside the branch lobby, we ask for your patience as we work to serve every member’s needs.

Following the guidance & direction of Utah’s government and health officials and to ensure the safety of our members and staff lobbies are opening to serve members under the following guidelines:

  • Limiting the number of members inside at any given time
  • Routine cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted throughout the day
  • Increased access to hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes
  • Social distancing in the teller lines, lobby areas and offices will be required
  • Teller stations will be equipped with germ shields/plexiglass barriers
  • Shareable items such as pens will be removed. If a pen is needed, members will be directed to keep the pen after use
  • Members with COVID-19 symptoms or recent contact with someone who has an active COVID-19 case, are advised against entering credit union lobbies
  • High risk individuals are advised to use drive-up or online services
  • Members are asked to limit who they bring into the branch, unless assistance is needed.

Due to the increases in local COVID-19 cases we are temporarily returning to drive-up only at our Moroni and Ephraim offices. We’ll keep you posted as things change. ECONOMIC IMPACT PAYMENTS

On Friday, April 10th, the IRS issued 75 million economic impact payments to qualified Americans.  Utah Heritage Credit Union members will begin to see electronic ACH payments beginning April 15 and continuing throughout April.

Members who did not file electronic returns for 2018 or 2019 will not receive direct deposit payments, but instead will receive payment by check in the mail in the coming weeks.

Members can also go to the website below to get additional information regarding their EIP Payments.  They can check their payment status as well as enter bank account information for direct deposit if the IRS doesn’t have that information.

The electronic payment will appear in your online history and on your statement as an IRS Refund.

SKIP-A-PAY

UHCU is currently offering a no fee loan extension option on all loans.  We want to help you any way we can.  Just complete an online skip-a-pay form at https://utahheritagecu.org/skip-payment/

MEMBER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

UHCU loan officers are available to assist you in applying for a line of credit or personal loan.  They can also help with increasing your current line of credit.  Our knowledgeable loan team is available everyday by appointment, and they are more than willing to work with you on a case-by-case basis.

60-DAY DEFERRED PAYMENT

UHCU is also offering a 60-day deferred payment on transferred loans and new qualifying loans.

SECURITY ALERT – CORONAVIRUS SCAMS

Several fraudulent schemes have been targeting Utah residents.  Reports have increased regarding criminals who are contacting individuals claiming to be from the CDC, IRS, state, or other local authority.

Additionally, criminals/scammers may pose as representatives from UHCU or other financial institutions in an attempt to convince members into divulging sensitive information about their UHCU accounts.

Below we have provided links to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency latest consumer information regarding fraud and scams.   Please remember to never share your UHCU account Information with anyone. This information includes credit card numbers, PINs, eTeller usernames/passwords, and all other sensitive information. Our team will never ask for your PIN or request sensitive information through an unsolicited text, phone call or email to you.

BRANCH OFFICES UPDATE

Protecting members, employees and your financial security continues to be our top priority at Utah Heritage Credit Union. We are continually monitoring the latest reports from both health and government organizations including the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In response to the White House recommendation limiting gatherings of 10 or more and the recommended guidance regarding social distancing, UHCU has decided to temporarily close our branch lobbies and operate primarily through our drive-up windows in our Moroni and Ephraim locations beginning Friday, March 20, 2020.

Our drive-up windows will remain open and staffed to meet member needs. Our Mt Pleasant office that does not offer a traditional drive-up window will transition to a call center to meet our member’s needs. Our Gunnison grocery store office will be open normal hours with limited staff. If your needs cannot be accommodated through the drive-up windows, you can call to schedule an appointment with any of our branches by contacting the call center at 435-436-8288 or 888-295-8428. In addition, the night-drop boxes at all of our offices will remain open and be checked throughout the day.
